WHATS GOIN ON?

This term, Room 13 are focusing on Canterbury for inquiry. We are planning to paint totem poles, each representing things of Canterbury and what it means to us.

For reading we are focusing on New Zealand novels. We are doing Novel Reading Assignments, which involve the key learning topics:  Remembering, Understanding, Applying, Analysing and Creating.

For writing, we are focused on diary writing. We are creating fictional and non-fictional diaries.

Maths is Numeracy, with a focus on the number strand.

PE; small ball skills.
